Airfare to Ironman Wisconsin for those of you who can make it.

Brendan's Ironman Wisconsin is only 7 weeks away. Here's what the Ironman is and how it started. (Note that the bike portion of the race alone was a two-day event originally.)

I know a few of you want to come out and support him in this totally crazy endeavor, I wanted to make you aware of one airline option that is relatively unknown outside of...well...the midwest.

Midwest Airlines, formerly Midwest Express, which I believe originally started as the private air fleet for Kimberly Clark...has some good deals to Madison. I found $216 RT from Boston and $270 RT from LAX and San Francisco.

The Ironman is September 10th, which is a Sunday, and if you want to see Brendan finish, you'll probably have to stay until Monday the 11th. But, if you are interested...now's the time to check it out.

HGTV Cutting room floor?

OK. I spoke too soon.

Should I be concerned that on HGTV's Web site we have been skipped over???

They jump from 611 to 613. We're 612! (And, of course, episode 613 just so happens to be a couple from Notre Dame who graduated in 99--I just read in the Alumni newsletter.)

So are they cutting our episode???? I don't think Brendan's show business hopes should be dashed because I act like Small Wonder when the cameras turn on.

No actual house sale? No television show? Broken kneecap? All in the name of "Designed to Sell?" Designed to suck, if you ask me. Boo.

HGTV update...and a tax break in one blog?? No way!

It's looking like end of September for our television debut on HGTV's Designed to Sell. HGTV recently updated their site...finally! And they are up to episode #611 which is airing mid-September. (We are episode #612--so I am just doing the math.)

So, set your Tivos for a yet undetermined airdate in late September!

Oh...and...I (Heather--the lazy one) just signed up for the Chicago marathon. And I am running (or attempting to run) for the Best Buddies Organization which helps people with intellectual disabilities seek gainful employment, and develop one-on-one friendships.

So, please start saving your pennies, and think of me for those 2006 tax breaks for charitable donations...because I am going to be organizing a bake sale, a block party, or some such "fun" raiser before October 22. (I need to raise $1000.)
