The calm AFTER the storm

So, not much going on here.
I wish I had some exciting news to report, but I do not.

Let's see. I'm working from home again this week, and I am pretty sure I have not left my house since Saturday night. Sunday I stayed in and did work. I haven't stepped a foot outside in four days. Yikes.

That might be one of the reasons I don't have very much to share.

Yesterday I decided to bake a cake mix that we had because we had people coming over to look at the house, and I wanted it to smell good. Only I didn't have any eggs. So I used bananas as a substitute--I read somewhere that that works--and then I created this chocolate glaze from various items I had in the house. Brendan refuses to eat it.

Maybe instead I should talk about how annoying it is when people schedule a time to come see your house, show up over a half an hour early, and then say, "Sorry, I'm a little early."

1/2 hour to me leaves enough time to rewire that lamp and rewallpaper the bathroom.
1/2 hour early means a huge mess.
